Join My Business Spanish Courses: Online, Immersive or Both

Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the business world, and the ability to speak it well opens doors that stay closed to everyone else. My Business Spanish courses are built for working professionals who want to communicate confidently with Spanish-speaking clients, colleagues and partners, and to feel at ease in any professional environment, from a quick call to a full presentation.

I teach online (unless you're interested in my immersion programme), so you can learn from your office, your home, or anywhere in the world. As a native Spanish speaker, I tailor every course to your real professional life, the situations you actually face at work, not generic textbook scenarios.

Built around you

Spanish business classes for business, built around you

Learning a language for work is different from learning it for a holiday. You need the vocabulary, the phrases, and the confidence that match your industry and your day-to-day responsibilities. That's exactly what these classes focus on.

Whether you're a complete beginner, working through the early stages, or already at an intermediate level and ready to advance, I'll meet you where you are. We'll review your current level at the beginning, agree on clear objectives, and build a structured course around them, so every lesson moves you closer to genuine success at work.

Three ways to learn Spanish for business

Online · individual

One-on-One Tuition

Private, fully personalised lessons, taught at your pace and shaped around your goals. This is the fastest route to progress: you get my full attention, plenty of speaking practice, and immediate correction of grammar and pronunciation. It's ideal for busy professionals, frequent travellers, and anyone preparing for something specific, a job interview, tasks where you need to write professionally, such as cover letters, an important meeting, or a relocation to a Spanish-speaking country.

Online · teams

Closed Group Classes

Perfect for companies who want to train a team together. I design these classes around your group's shared objectives and your industry, so colleagues learn the same vocabulary and skills and can practise together between lessons. Group learning is engaging, collaborative, and cost-effective, a smart way for a company to build language skills across its people without stretching the budget.

For groups, I carry out a short needs analysis first, so the course is tailored to your company's goals rather than delivered off the shelf.

Spanish Immersion Programme in Menorca

For professionals who want to accelerate, nothing matches learning in Spanish, all day, in Spain itself. Through my Spanish Homestay Immersion Programme (SHIP) in Menorca, you combine focused Business Spanish lessons with real, everyday practice, using the language naturally from morning to night. It's the most intensive and rewarding way to build fluency and confidence in a short space of time, whether you come on your own or as a small team. Practice can also include negotiation around costs and professional opportunities, as well as role-plays that help you answer clearly in interview-style situations.

The skills

What language skills you'll learn

Every course is different, but Business Spanish learners typically work on:

  • Professional vocabulary and phrases specific to your industry: the words you'll actually use in the office and with clients, with action words in Spanish that help clarify expectations in team settings.

  • Speaking and listening through realistic dialogues and role-plays, so you can talk and communicate naturally under real conditions.

  • Writing for work: professional emails, reports, cover letters, and your CV, written clearly and correctly to highlight key elements that impress employers; writing style in professional documents also varies by country.

  • Grammar that matters, introduced in a practical way, from building solid sentences to handling the past tenses with confidence.

  • Key business skills in Spanish: presentations, negotiation in practical business contexts, phone calls, and job interviews.

Practical Spanish for Business training materials and session
Spanish for Business: practical, personalised language training for real professional situations

I keep lessons interactive, mixing structured teaching with hands-on practice, interactive exercises, and helpful resources you can download and review in your own time. Reading business blogs improves vocabulary and understanding. Following Spanish-language business news also helps with industry-specific terminology. Where useful, I'll point you to short videos, Spanish business classes, and other materials to reinforce concepts between our sessions. I also share downloadable resources, including a PDF cheat sheet with essential business Spanish vocabulary, to support comprehension and more effective professional communication.

FAQs

Business Spanish, answered

A good practical benchmark is A2: with a solid A2 level you can already handle many everyday professional exchanges. That said, there's no single level required for business Spanish; it depends on what you need to do at work. Many professionals start as complete beginners and quickly learn the specific vocabulary and phrases their role demands, while others arrive at an intermediate level wanting to refine presentations or negotiations. I review your current level at the start, agree clear objectives with you, and build the course from there, so you're always working on exactly what matters for your job.

Rates for a qualified Business Spanish tutor vary depending on experience, specialism, and whether you're learning one-to-one or as a group. As a native teacher who tailors every course to your real professional situations rather than generic material, I price my courses around the format and goals you choose, and closed group classes for teams are a particularly cost-effective option. Get in touch with your level and objectives, and I'll recommend the right format and talk you through it.

The most common Spanish word for business is negocio, though you'll also hear empresa (a company or firm) and los negocios when talking about business in general. Which word fits depends on the context, and learning those distinctions, rather than memorising single translations, is exactly the kind of practical, industry-specific vocabulary we focus on in my courses so you sound natural with clients and colleagues.

In Spanish, a CEO is usually referred to as the director general or directora general, the equivalent of a chief executive officer. You'll also see the English “CEO” used directly in many international companies, especially in writing. Understanding these real-world titles and how seniority is expressed is part of building the professional fluency my courses are designed around.

The 80/20 rule, or Pareto principle, means that roughly 80% of your results come from about 20% of your effort. For business Spanish, this means a focused core of high-frequency vocabulary, key phrases, and the specific language of your industry lets you handle most real work situations quickly. I build my courses around that high-impact core, so you're communicating confidently at work far sooner than a textbook-from-page-one approach would allow.

Workplace language rules vary widely by country and employer, so there's no universal answer; it's really a legal and HR question for your specific region rather than a language one. What I can help with is the practical side: giving you the confidence and vocabulary to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, colleagues, and partners, whatever your working environment looks like.
